Facilities

The cell culture laboratory can perform all the necessary experiments for the establishment, characterization and storage of cell lines obtained from different patient samples; in vitro carcinogenicity and cytotoxicity studies; virus isolation and identification assays. It is equipped with laminar airflows cabinets, thermostats, ultracentrifuges, flowcytometer, light and fluorescence microscopes with video and digital cameras and image processing software; deep freezers and liquid nitrogen tanks.
