Facilities

The Molecular Biology Unit can sustain complex work with DNA and RNA from the extraction to genotyping. Its equipments include laminar airflows cabinets, thermocyclers for PCR and real time PCR, modern electrophoresis and blotting systems for nucleic acid hybridization, spectrophotometric, spectrofluorimetric and chemiluminescence analyzers related to quantization of nucleic acids, proteins and peptides, together with computers and image processing instruments, incubators, microcentrifuges.
